How To Get Leads From Facebook
Before I get into that let me tell you how not to get any leads from Facebook. One of the worst mistakes that people make when they join a new company is they start posting their link all over their wall. This is not marketing and you’re actually turning people off from potentially ever joining you. When you do that people will a lot of the times (if they are interested) just take your company name and go out an google it to find out more about it where they are sure to come across something negative. If you search hard enough you can find something negative on just about anything, heck there are articles and post out there about toilet paper being a scam.
Bottom line is you want to be the one to expose them to your company and not some forum post or rant that they come across on the internet and you can’t do that if you let everyone know on Facebook what company you are in. Now there are some ways that you can get people to reach out to you and actually get leads for free. Do you think having people reach out to you instead of you chasing them would make building your business a lot easier? This is call attraction marketing and in my opinion the very best way to get leads from Facebook.
Let me give you some additional examples of how you can start getting leads from Facebook groups. More than likely you are in one which is usually just a big time spam fest with everyone pitching their business and links. You can actually go into these groups and start up conversations with people. Find out how they are doing in their business and where they are at and depending on their need you can introduce the right product or service to them that solves that problem. Now a little warning most people are perfectly happy in their current business and usually are not looking to join another one. That is why it’s important to have multiple things that you can offer them. This also sets you up for multiple streams of income. You can refer them over to a service that can solve their problem which usually turns out to be generating leads.
