If you just started building your network marketing business, there is a good chance you were told to make a list of your family, friends, co-workers, basically anyone you know that is breathing. While I highly suggest that you do this, there are a few key things you need to keep in mind.

The list of people you know is going to run out at some point, most of the time sooner than later. So what are you going to do once you get to the end of that list?

Well, I was in that exact position when I came online a few short years ago looking for ways to build my business using the internet. What I found was a way to position my products and services in front of people who already like the network marketing profession. MLM Is Simple But Not Easy

One of the things that give network marketing is the distributers. They run around telling people how easy is this business is and how they can get rich quick. They use tactics like inviting you over for dinner which turns out to be a presentation with out you knowing. Well, let me tell you it’s not easy. MLM is a simple concept but is far from easy; in fact, this business will test you like no other. 

You are going to get told no, family and friends might think you are crazy but in the end, it will be all worth it IF you are willing to stick with it and not give up.

Are You A Quitter?

I think one of the things that contribute to the high rate of people quitting is the low cost to get started. It’s usually only a couple hundred bucks or so. With such a low price point of entry and you throw in all the people that are going to tell you no, makes it easy to just walk away from it because you are not losing anything except a few dollars.

If you had just invested in a franchise like a McDonalds, Pizza Hut or a Subway, your start-up investment would be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Not to mention most franchises won’t even consider you unless you have at least a million dollars in the bank!

Wouldn’t you agree walking away from a business with that type of investment would be a lot tougher?

Unlike a traditional business where it will take you several years to earn your initial investment back, with network marketing you can do it much faster. 

Network marketing won’t make you rich overnight, but if you do the work, the potential on the income you can make is limitless.

Here Are Some MLM Tips To Success

Since being in network marketing for several years I’ve learned a few things during this time. Here are just a handful of things I wished I would have learned sooner.

1. Don’t get addicted to the outcome when prospecting. If someone tells you no don’t take it personal and don’t burn that bridge. Politly thank them for their time, ask for a referral and follow up with them at a later date. The timing might not be right.
2. Investing in yourself. I can’t tell you how big this is. You should work on yourself as hard as you work on building your mlm. When you show up as a better person your entire team will benefit from it. So go out invest in coaches, books, courses, anything you can get your hands on that will help you grow.
3. Think long term. Network marketing is not a get rich thing more like a get rich slow. If you need to make money fast you want to prospect your butt off. If you are building your business using the internet, I highly suggest you check out affiliate marketing too so you can make some now money.
