Here are some tips I got from the book the Slight Edge by Jeff Olsen. If you are just getting started I highly recommend you get this book and read it more than once. The principles that are taught in it will give you a solid foundation to build your mlm business on. This is my third time reading this book and each time I get something new from it.

If you’re wanting some secrets to network marketing success there really isn’t any. There is no secret script or marketing strategy that will make the money start pouring in. What it does take is work. Building a business and having success in network marketing does not happen over night but it will happen as long as you stay committed and don’t give up on yourself. All the information you need is already out here and readily available you have to put it into action, you have to do the work. Stop looking for the easy way and be committed to the process. Also be a coachable person. Nobody knows it all and nobody likes to work with one either. Your results speak for themselves. This is probably the most critical thing in my opinion that you should be. As long as you are able to follow simple instructions you can build yourself a successful business.
