Follow Up Like A Boss
The money is in the follow-up. It can take several exposures to your product or service before someone buys. So following up is a MUST if you want to make sales. That is where having a customer relationship manager or CRM comes into play. Imagine having one place to document all your interactions with your prospect from the email you sent down to the conversation you had with them on the phone. Yep, that’s the power of having a tool like this. In my opinion, if you don’t have this I can guarantee your bank account knows it! What To Do When You Find Them
So what the heck do you do once you do find someone who’s a network marketer?
We’ll I’ll tell you what not to do and that is start pitching them how great your deal is. The truth is most people are more than likely happy in their current company and you trying to convince them to join you in your deal will be next to impossible. What you should do is reach out to them and focus on making a relationship with them first BEFORE anything else. Things change with people all the time, and they might not be looking for company at that exact time, but that can change later on.
I’ll tell you from my experience is most people that I connect with online that are in network marketing are usually struggling to generate leads and finding people to talk to about their business. This is why having multiple things to offer people is so important. If all you have is your MLM company, you’re going to struggle with making any money online. Being able to provide them with a solution to their problem will get you far better results than trying to shove your deal all in their face.
Build That Relationship First
Your goal should be to build that relationship first. There is a simple process I learned from Ray Higdon. It goes, generate a lead, connect with the lead and find out their need. These are the exact steps I’ve implemented into my business. If you follow those three steps you will know exactly what solution to offer. For example, if you connect with someone and they tell you they are looking for a home based business, boom show them your deal. If they say they are happy in the current company (most people are) but they are struggling with generating leads then you can show them a product or service that helps them with that. This is my solution that I give my leads when they tell me they are struggling with lead generation or wanting to know how to market online. Think of becoming your one stop shop for all your target audience needs.
