Knowing some direct selling tips is going to be critical if you want to build your business. Whether you know it or not if you are in a network marketing company you are in sales, heck you are even in sales in your day to day life. If you are struggling to build your business you are probably making some critical mistakes such as putting your product before people. Let me explain, when people join a mlm company they think they have the best product ever right or at least that is what most people think but the truth is nobody actually cares about it. When you lead with your product before finding out about your prospect you are at a big disadvantage and your chances of getting them on board is extremely slim.
Here is some direct selling advice, put people first, find out what problems they are having. Come from a place of service. That’s how you will get more sales. Get this right and watch how things start to change for the better. Get it wrong and you will struggle to build any type of business and you will actually push people away from you. Ever see a Facebook post or maybe you’ve done it where you put up a link to your business or product and you get zero engagement from it? First you haven’t even put your product in front of your target audience you just threw a hail mary pass and your hoping someone clicks on your link an buys. Second the people that actually might be interested in your product will go out and research your product themselves and usually finds all the negative stuff out there on it.
Selling is about helping people. Helping people is where it all starts. Getting better at helping people is the only way you will start to close more sales. This is why when you lead with your product first it rarely works. It’s because it’s usually all about you and you’re thinking about what gain you are going to get out of it and not how it’s going to solve or help that person. Have a service oriented attitude and you will be well on your way to making more sales. Just having a better product is not going to be enough. Look there will always be the next best thing out there and it’s true some people will get the shiny object sydrome and keep chasing those two rabbits but when you give your prospects great service and put them first this really sets you apart from the crowd.
