Five Best Places To Prospect For Network Marketing When You Are Brand New

best places to prospect for network marketing

Did you just join your first network marketing business?

Here are five of the best places to prospect for network marketing when you are brand new.

Here’s A BETTER Way To Build Your Business

If you just started building your network marketing business, there is a good chance you were told to make a list of your family, friends, co-workers, basically anyone you know that is breathing. While I highly suggest that you do this, there are a few key things you need to keep in mind.

The list of people you personally know is going to run out at some point, most of the time sooner than later. So what are you going to do once you get to the end of that list?

Well I was in that exact position when I came online a few short years ago looking for ways to build my business using the internet. What I found was a way to position my products and services in front of people who were already sold on network marketing. All of this is done using a little secret that all top earners online use.

The secret is attraction marketing, you can learn about it by going here.

 Just Starting Out?

If you are just getting started the very best thing you can do for your business is prospect your butt off. If you need to make money fast, prospect your butt off. When you want to grow your paycheck, prospect your butt off.

It’s safe to say, prospecting will solve a lot of your problems when trying to build your network marketing business. If you are brand new chances are you don’t really have any prospecting skills just yet and that’s ok, everyone has to start from somewhere. And prospecting is not that hard at all, it actually becomes fun when you get good at it.

It’s easy to talk to those friends and family but that is only going to take you so far.

What To Do  When You Run Out Of People To Talk To

When you have told everyone in your warm marketing about your business you need to start talking to people you don’t know, people in your cold market. What trips most people up is the when they have to do cold marketing prospecting, talking to someone they don’t know. Get good at prospecting on and offline and you will never run out of people to talk to about your network marketing business.

Don’t Make This Mistake

When you first get started in your network marketing business, hitting up your friends and family is a great way to jump-start your business.  Here is a few key things you need to keep in mind, not everyone will want to build a business. Some will support you by just buying the product. This goes for your warm and cold market.

[clickToTweet tweet=”You can build an empire just off of customers.” quote=”You can build an empire just off of customers.”]

One of the biggest mistakes network marketers make is thinking everyone has a desire to build an empire and that is not always the case. If your approach is all about pushing them to build a business you run the risk of turning your prospects off altogether.

Let’s say you have a customer and we will just call him Johnny,

If Johnny is happy with the product and he is happy using it but has no desire to be an entrepreneur, you should not try and convince him to do so. He orders what he needs each and every month like clock work. That could be monthly volume for your business.

Now let’s say you convinced him that he should do the business, first-months auto ship comes in then the second and the third. Next thing you know Johnny has a house full of product he is not using or can’t use fast enough. Then what usually happens is he stops his auto ship and just quits the business altogether because he didn’t want to build a business in the beginning anyway.

This Is Going To Happen No Matter What

How to handle rejection in network marketing is something that we all must learn. Just understand there is no way to avoid it and you can’t control it. What you can control is how you respond and react to it.

You don’t ever want to try and convince someone to do network marketing. They either love network marketing or at least open to the idea or they hate it. If they hate it move on to the next prospect. Don’t waste your time.

You can avoid rejection with attraction marketing. This is where you get people to reach out to you and ask you about your business.

In the video, I share five of the very best places to prospect for network marketing and I tell you exactly what you should do at each one.

  1. Hi Dereco,
Awesome video and tips today. I already took my business cards and placed in book on home business in the public libraries in my area. I couldn’t believe how simple yet it worked. People CALL me cause they seen my card in the book.
I have never heard of Meetup.com. Checking into that right now…
