When I first got started online I had no idea what a lead was much less how to market online the right way. There are two types of marketing you can do there is passive marketing where you put a piece of  content out there such as a video or blog post and hope that someone reaches out to you and then there is active marketing where you are reaching out to people to see if they are open to your product or business opportunity. If you are in a tight situation and need money ASAP you better be actively marketing and talking to as many people as possible on a daily basis. The more people you get in front of your presentation the better chance you have to make a sale and earn some money.

Here are a couple of key things to remember when you are learning how to generate leads online:

-It does not happen overnight. Learning how to market takes time just like any other skill. You have to be willing to put in the work to get better. All marketing strategies work but are you willing to do what it takes and stay consistent to see the results?

-No matter what marketing strategy you decide to use there will always be an investment to be made either through your time (most valuable) and sometimes money.

-There are NO shortcuts to success. Now there are things that you can do that will that will help shorten your path but there are no such things as overnight success. Usually over night success stories takes time to accomplish. If you are looking to get rich quick or just want to make a quick buck then you might need to adjust your thinking just a bit because you will get very little or any results with that type of mindset.
