How To Do MLM Prospecting On Facebook
Prospecting on Facebook is a lot easier than doing it in person, in my opinion. With Facebook, you can quickly check out someone’s profile and find something to talk to them about. But as easy as it is to prospect on this social media platform a lot of network marketers do it wrong. They think, oh since I’m sitting behind this keyboard let me send out my link and ask people to join my team.
Would you do that if you were in person? Would you walk up to random people on the street and ask them to join your team or buy your product without having a conversation with them first? Probably not, but this is precisely what you are doing when you randomly post your links or send unsolicited messages about your business opportunity.
How You Can Be More Effective With Your Prospecting
Go check out their profile for 2 minutes, find out something they like and send them a message like this, “Hey (Insert Their Name), I noticed you were an LA Lakers fan, did you see their game the other night?”
Doing something as simple as that can lead to someone buying your product or joining your team. Making new conversations should be at the top of your list, when you create conversations you open the door to possibly exposing them to your business.

Using Only Social Media To Build Your Business
Me personally, I’m not a fan of just using social media to a business. The biggest reason is that you don’t own any of your social media profiles. I think anyone who is serious about building a business should have a blog.
Your own self-hosted WordPress blog. You own it, and nobody can shut it down. When you make a Facebook post, one of your goals should be to get them back to your blog. Your blog is where people can get to know who you are and what you are all about.

Don’t Spread Yourself Too Thin
If you want to avoid information overload and get the best results, only focus on one social media channel. You don’t need to be on everyone. I’m not saying anything is wrong with it but if you are just starting out, put all your energy into only one strategy.
Once you start getting some results, then you add another one.

I have a suggestion. If somebody wants to go more in detail say point no.1 Engaging and attention grabbing attention of a totally stranger is all about selecting a point of interest to that person-right!
You can make a video dealing in more details.
Most important topics like people come to FB for sharing and caring .Telling others about something interesting.
Health and fitness, Events and personal milestones, personal stories etc. Elaborate on these points show examples of interesting model posts.
Then asking the people to come back for more on other points or make big 2000 words blog post.
This is my reaction to your video.
You made a very good point Rangan, you need to find what interest your prospect. Find out their pain point, their goals, and dreams. Then provide a solution to those goals and dreams.
