How To Prospect In Network Marketing

How To Prospect In Network Marketing

Did you run out of people to talk to about your business?

In this training, I’m to show you how to prospect in network marketing so you will never run out of people to talk to about your business.

I Was Clueless About How To Do Network Marketing Online

When I came online a few years ago, I had no clue of how this online marketing thing worked. If someone would have asked me what a capture page was they would have gotten a blank stare from me.

It wasn’t until I plugged into a marketing system that taught me how the pieces fitted together AND it kept me up to date with the ever-changing marketing strategies out here.

Maybe you are just getting started, or you’ve been online for awhile but have not gotten the results you wanted. If you want to finally find out how to generate leads and make more sales in your business, then you might want to check out the system that changed everything for me. You can go here to check it out.

Talk To Your Warm Market

If you are new or just getting started you should absolutely talk to your warm market about your new business. Keep in mind you might run into rejection, especially if this is not your first time doing network marketing and you’ve already pitched them before.

If that’s the case I highly suggest you lead with your product and not the business side. And have the attitude that if they do become a customer great, and if they don’t that’s great too.

Have the mindset you are going to build it with or without them.

Run Out Of People To Talk To?

I know the feeling of running out of people to talk to. I ran into the same thing in my first and second network marketing business I joined. I knew nothing about cold market prospecting, heck I didn’t even know the word. All I knew was I didn’t have anyone to talk to, and that sucked!

This is a common situation that most network marketers go through, especially in the beginning after they have talked to all of their family and friends.

What Is Cold Market Prospecting

Cold market prospecting merely is where you take a complete stranger (cold market) and turn them into someone that knows you, and you know them, (warm market.) It’s not that difficult at all once you learn some core skills.

Your cold market is a lot bigger than your warm market. There are way more people that you don’t know than you do.

Most people fear rejection so they avoid doing any cold market prospecting. If you do it right you can all but eliminate any rejection.

How To Find Prospects For Network Marketing

This is simply no reason for you to struggle to find people to talk to about your business. Take social media for example, how many times have you seen someone complaining about their job, or how they wished they could take a vacation?

That should set off your prospecting alarm. It’s a great opportunity to reach out to them, NOT to pitch them but to open up the conversation.

Finding people to talk to about your business is the easy part. Where most people struggle is approaching people and starting a conversation.

How To Approach People

So how do you approach someone in your cold market? I learned this simple strategy from Ceasar Rodriguez. You can use this anywhere you are at, the store, gym, social events or out to eat.

Always, start your conversation off with a compliment. It Helps break the ice and open up the conversation.

You: “Hey man, those are some sweet shoes, where did you get those from?”

Them: “Thanks, I got them from the mall right down the street.”

You: “Oh ok cool. So what do you do for a living?”

Them: “Oh I sell insurance.”

You: “How long have you been doing that?”

Them: “For the past 15 years.”

You:“That’s awesome, you must know a lot of people? Can you do me a favor and help me out? I’m working with a company that is doing a ton of expanding in this area, and they are looking for some people. Now I can’t promise you anything, but who do you know that keeps their options open when it comes to making more money?”

What’s so cool about this approach is you didn’t ask them if they were open you asked if they knew anyone. If they are interested, they will raise their hand. If not they might give you a referral.

This is a simple but effective strategy when you are prospecting for network marketing.

Pass The Knowledge On To Your Team

When you learn how to prospect strangers in network marketing, you can and should pass the knowledge on to your team. Just imagine the growth you could have on your team if they knew how to properly prospect someone.

Learning how to cold market prospect benefits you and your entire team.

Keep in mind, you might recruit some people who don’t have as big a warm market as others. If they learn some cold market prospecting skills, it can make all the difference in their business.
