Not enough time in the day to do all the task needed to grow your business?
You don’t require more time you just need to make better use of the time you have. The personal productivity tips I’m going to show you in this post will help you do it!
Seven Minutes
Talk about a serious time saver. On a recent Wednesday, there was a free training that taught how you could setup your very own funnel in seven minutes or less that would quickly start pulling in leads for your business. This is the type of training that is given out every single week. All you have to do is show up, take notes and put the information into action in your business. If you want some high-level training from six and seven figure coaches, then you can check it out by clicking here.
Get Task Done
Have you ever had a to-do-list of things that you wanted to accomplish, but at the end of the day you felt like you got absolutely nothing done? I know I’ve felt like this before, even though I got things done I still didn’t feel accomplished. Now things are a bit different and here is what changed.
I started prioritizing what was most important to my business and making sure those tasks got done before anything else. I used to wait and come up with blog topics through the week. Now I sit down on the weekends and get three to five post topics ready at a time. This free’s up more of my time through the week to do more income producing activities like meeting new people and showing them a presentation. I also like to do my videos in batches as well. I’ll lay out a few different shirts and flip my camera on my phone on and get busy.
7 Personal Productivity Tips
1. Know Exactly What You Want- Take some time and figure out to the T what goals you would like to achieve. They need to be as crystal clear as possible and specific as possible. For example, if your goal was to get your presentation in front of more people it could be, get ten people per day to look at a company presentation.
2.Write It Down- As simple as this sounds writing your goals or task down on paper makes the real. Real in a sense, they are physical now. Don’t keep all your goals and task in your head. That’s just wishful thinking. I remember when I used to not write any of my goals down at all. I really didn’t think anything of it at the time. Once I made them real by writing them down I was a lot more aware because they were in front of me. This helped keep me on track big time.
3.Set a Deadline- Make sure you set each and every one of your goals with a time limit for completion. This will help prevent procrastination and help keep you moving towards completing your task. I like to reminders on my smartphone on when things needs to be completed.
4.Make a List- Put together a list of requirements needed to accomplish those task. For me, I had a goal of getting my lead flow up so to one of my requirements was to produce content on a consistent basis, almost daily. As new requirements come up and they will, you should continue to add to your list.
5.Organize- Have some structure to your list. Nothing is worse than having your task scattered all over the place. Make sure they organized by importance too. Put the items that will have the biggest impact on your business first on your list. For me, personal development followed by creating a piece of content for example.
6.Take Action- This is probably the most critical step in my opinion. You have to put in the work to hit those goals. That means taken massive focused action. Don’t stay in learning mode or planning mode forever this is the number one way to not get anything accomplished. I fell into this trap when I first got started. I kept waiting for everything to be just right. This stop me from blogging, doing videos and so many other things I should have been doing to move my business forward.
7.Do Something Everyday- Do something every day that will help you achieve your goals or task. This can be tough sometimes, but you have to keep the big picture in mind.
And there you have it, seven tips that if implemented will help you complete any goal or task you have. Let me know in the comment section below if these tips help you.
