MLM Tips: Why You Should Call Your Leads
You’ve done the hard part, and that’s getting someone to opt into your website with their name, email address and low and behold a phone number! When someone does this they are asking you to please call them back; they want to talk to you. I have spoken to people who have told me they are flat out scared to pick up the phone. My suggestion to them is, do it anyway. The best way to get over a fear is to face it head on.
When you have generated a lead through your marketing efforts, they are way different than the leads you purchase. With cold calling, those people have no clue who you or how you got their information. When they opt in through your website, more than likely they have checked out your video or blog post. So they already know you to some extinct or at least they feel like they do. You are the authoritative figure in their eyes. Why Staying Consistent Matters
The more that you do something, the better you will get at it. The first time I called a lead back I was a nervous wreck, I felt like I had to be someone I was not. This made it tough to have a normal conversation with my leads. When you are on the phone, you want to have a normal conversation with them. I found that the more phone calls I made, the easier it got. Now I look forward to talking to my leads. I’ve built some lifelong friendships with people from all over the world by using the telephone.

If your lead leaves their phone number they WANT You to call them. I also found that when I leave a text message after a VM people will reach out and schedule and appointment.
