Getting Your Team To Duplicate

Your team is going to do what they see you do. If you are out here recruiting and bringing new people into your business this is going to motivate the right one’s to do the same thing. Not everyone who joins your team is going to turn into a top producer. Would it be nice if they did, of course, but that is usually not the case. It’s up to you as their sponsor to get them started in the right direction. That is why it’s important for you to set the example and the easier the example you set the easier it will be for them to follow.

When I would sign a new distributor up, I would tell them to just push play as in just put the DVD in and push the play button.It was simple but very effective and anyone could do it. This is what I would tell new people when they came aboard. Let the resource do all work. I”m a big believer in leveraging your company tools that are available.

Drop The Fancy Stuff In The Beginning

I had teammates that wanted to do all types of fancy stuff with presentations. The problem with this approach is procrastination sets in. They think they need to have everything right in order to show or tell someone about their business and that is just not true. Now I’m not saying don’t do home meetings, home or offline meetings are always going to be an effective method to building your network marketing business but you don’t want your new reps thinking they have to do all this fancy stuff just to get going.

Building a network marketing business requires you to build relationships with people. Just keep it super simple, find out if someone is open to taking a look, put them in front of a presentation, DVD or point them to a website and then collect a decision. You teach your new reps to do this you will have far better results in my opinion. Now once they have some momentum built up in their business and they start to feel a bit more comfortable explaining how the business works then they can get into some of the fancier things.

    Simple is way more effective in duplicating! I agree with pointing new reps to a tool.
    My business has about 25 videos in the back office that I point new distributors to. Also, I suggest they read Go Pro by Eric Worre. If they won’t read a book, then that’s the first red flag that might indicate that they might not be a leader, but that’s usually too soon to judge. Never pre-judge a distributor!

  2. One thing I learned from MLM Legend Lisa Grossmann is when you are speaking to your prospects about your business, they are looking at answering 3 questions:

    1) Does it work?
    2) Will it work for me?
    3) Can I do it?

    If you have a system that is simple and duplicatible, this answers all 3 questions above.
